Schluter Systems has changed the way we do tile. Schluter Systems has been around since 1966 when Werner Schluter opened a tile installation company, and over the years they  have grown and now specialize in tile and tile systems. They have been in the game for a long time and it shows! They have made many specialized products that help with tiling in general, but today we are talking about Profiles.

 Schluter Profiles are a sleek easy way to put an edge on your tile without needing border tile and not leaving an exposed tile edge. The best way to describe it is metal trim that you attach to the end of your tile. For example, if you are tiling a wall, you attach the Schluter Profile to the wall where you plan to end the tile line, and then spread your thin set and place your tile up against the profile to create the edge. They also have metal transition profiles that smoothly transition between walls in a corner, or between the wall and the floor. These are called Cove Profiles, and they have a different shape. They have other different kinds of Profiles, but these are the ones we use most often. Each of their profiles comes in a variety of different colors and metals to to choose from to best suit the color scheme of your project.
